    That finale 8 weeks of no travel and a very late bye is perfect. The players get over travelling and being away from home at the back end. Getting 2 points and a rest in Rd25 is perfect for those niggling injuries.

    Personally I’d release Kennedy before Atkinson. DA first shot at fullback with Ison & Dykes 2nd and 3rd choice then Ronnie and Hiroti 4th and 5th choice.

    Puru twin brother apparently hasn’t taken up his option to stay at Canberra. Would be a great addition if he was willing to be behind a few here.

    What club is going to go sign Kennedy as their starting fullback? He is on par with a few but not a big enough improvement to warrant a club kicking out their current fullbacks to sign him. He isn’t versatile where you could put him in the half’s or backline if needed.

    AFBs play the ball speed will make such a huge difference to everyone. The middles running off the back of him. Brailys running game. Nicho and Trindal won’t know what to do finally having defence on the back foot.

    I’m not getting into a bidding war for Tricky. He is solid but love it or hate it we have committed to Nicho in the half’s long term and I’m not 100% sold on Tricky play style next to him. The $700+ figures floating around are too big a risk imo. $550-$600k is the absolute limit I’d go.
