    I think even the club has written this year off. Spending so much time in the off season signing players for 2023. Id be rotating Brooks, Douihi and Hastings over the year so see whats best and use that for 2023.

    Im with you Ned. The problem on the defense on that side are the centers and the edge forwards. There hasnt been any consistency over the years for those guys to build combinations.

    My take. Sheens is talking a lot about 2023. I reckon Madge gets a pass for next year, but will be expected to push for / make the finals in 2023. On our young hookers, Simpkin is the one we want. We would be happy to off Liddle for a player swap. Would love Bird here to play center.

    Im a little disappointed that Luch is gone. Just a little. I liked the idea of him a ij in the backrow for us. But 500k was my price. If a club even more desperate than ours wants to pay more good luck to him. He's not a marque back row and will hate the pressure on him up there though.

    We cant release him because noone wants to join us to fill the f**king roster spot! Im always of the view that if someone wants to leave you let them do it. Ive never held staff to notice periods either. No good can come from making a player play for a team they dont want to play for.
