    Rubbish to the head yes fair enough, and I honesty believe he would of accepted that but the face? Hmmmm Smith never touched his face no wonder he was gobsmacked by the refs wording. After McGuires recent transgressions smiths actions are not even close.

    Yes I agree and so would the Nrl. I havent heard anything from Greenberg or Beattie about “forcing” any club. They wouldn’t and couldn’t (souths). But when club grants above the salary cap are slowly lowered over time, clubs that are struggling don’t make sound financial judgements they will die...

    I don’t believe that’s right. Both rights deals finish in 2022. The afl did a 6yr deal from 2017-2022. Nrl 5yrs 2018-2022. But in saying that, I think with the possibility of expansion it will bring the broadcasters to the table earlier.
