With all our backline problems at the moment why dont we try and sign Peni Tagive, he is currently playing with Berkeley in the Illawarra competition, what a waste. I was sorry to see him leave the Tigers, I know he had a bad run with injuries but he had potential. He won't get a look in at...
I reckon Matt Utai has made more metres in 4 games than Fitzhenry did in his last 2 seasons at the Tigers, going forward that is,not sideways or backwards.
According to the Wests Tigers site Lui may be out for 6 weeks. I cannot believe the bad luck we have had this season, that is 6 run on players out with injury, Ellis, Gibbs, Fulton,Lawrence, Tuquiri, and Lui.
Liam Fulton, Bryce Gibbs, and Beau Ryan have all been fined for consuming alcohol while on the injured list. Not very clever boys, club policy is nil alcohol intake while recovering from injuries, also shows disrespect for your team mates and supporters.
I heard Tim Sheens on talkin sport this arvo and apart from Lote and Chris Lawrence joining the injured list Lui was having x rays on an injured ankle and could be missing for up to 3 weeks.
Just heard on Sports Sunday with Peter peters that Andrew Fifita has been signed by the Bulldogs,he must really have fallen foul with Tim Sheens. So much talent it really is a shame that the Wests Tigers won't get to benefit from it.
I have just looked at the 2011 draw in the Daily Telegraph,we play all the 2010 semi finalists twice except Manly who we play once at Brookvale or maybe Gosford. Where will we play St George I would love to get them to L/O but we will probably play them at SFS or ANZ.
What is it with our 2nd Half fade outs? against the Roosters one Intercept try, then against the raiders one second half try to Lawrence, then nothing against the Dragons. I have read quite a few times on the forum about the input Steve Folkes has had with our conditioning this season but 2...
Congratulations to Robbie and Chris on making the Kangaroos final squad today. A fitting reward for your efforts this year, thanks for a great year for the Wests Tigers fans, all the best for the 4 nations tournament.
Congratulations Gareth, Wests Tigers player of the year 2years running. I hope your Father is still out here from England to see you receive your award. Thanks again for your wholehearted efforts throughout the year and hope we can go one better next year.
If we are to win another Premiership with this current bunch our kicking game has to improve quite a lot. It is way below average and on the rare occasion of a good day it is nothing to rave about. I watched a replay of the 1990 G/f last night and Stuart and Alexander found the sideline with...
If you dopey Saints supporters have a look at the Smith tackle from back on Foxsports 513 you will see he is full stretch, legs wide apart and leading with the knee, it was not a running action and the bludger should have been rubbed out. This bloke was no cleanskin when he was with Melbourne...
The misery continued today with both Western Suburbs and Balmain teams being eliminated in the NSW Cup, Wests went down to windsor Wolves 32 to 26 and Balmain were down by 14 with 7 minutes to go against the Bulldogs, didn't hear the full time score.
Thanks Bryce you have improved out of sight this year and played your best football, tackled your heart out all year and made plenty of hitups, you should be very proud of your efforts as most Tigers supporters will be. also a special mention to Blake Ayshford your last 8 games have been great...
Why can't we move Lui to Fullback in defence and move Brown up to 5/8 or centre, he is such a worry in defence I don't think we can win, brown has improved a lot as the year has gone on in attack and defence.
If Johnny Sattler can play a Grand Final with a broken jaw surely Chris Lawrence can play 3 weeks after having his repaired, good head gear and plenty of padding should get you through a game, toughen up boys this is sudden death.
Robbie sets up 3 tries last friday night against the Titans and only gets 2 points in the Dally M from Brad Mumbles Fittler this in turn allows a Rooster in Todd Carney to win the Dally M. You deserve better Robbie after missing out to Jonathon Thurston also. I was at Skilled Stadium and noticed...
