    Nor do I. But I do feel sorry for other sports, like netball, where there is genuine grass roots support but they don't have the big dollars generated from the male counterparts to sink into promotion.

    No point trying to get a new halfback until they realise Hynes aint a halfback. He's a runninng 5/8. Getting Pezet would just replicate the problem.

    Let them sort the mens cap first. Or get rid of it altogether. Current setup is a joke. If NRL wants to pay excess like the 3rd party payments to keep the best in NRL, that's fine by me, but the NRL tells them where they play.

    No, but his earlier stuff was better. Recent ones I've liked include Mr Mercedes, The Institute, Dr Sleep, Holly, Never Flinch, If it Bleeds, You Like it Darker and Revival.

    You don't think that 2 of those clubs being amongst the most financially strong has anything to do with that? We are apparently at near cap whilst Melbourne have 3-4 elite players in their spine and no problem. Broncs have the Thoroughbreds and no end of 3rd party payers. With all their star...

    They're just not that common, hence the elite tag. And the rich clubs get them. The fact that we are the only non rich club to win one in 10 years, and that was largely through discards, shows how rubbish the cap is. (Though I don't begrudge Penrith as they either breed or buy discards)
