Most certainly the WA Reds would be fantastic for the game. It would be great to see some of the Rugby League print media get behind the State Comp over there and give it some more exposure in the Eastern States to help the cause - Big League, Rugby League Week and even Rugby League News...

The Perth Reds would probably be better served joining the NSW Cup anyway in either 2011 or 2012 that way they could play both over age and 20s players rather than limiting themselves in the Toyota Cup. Some NRL clubs play a lot of their under 20s in the NSW Cup to prepare them for NRL already...

I would prefer to see all clubs including Penrith and Parramatta run their own teams just not sure if they can afford to break any current contracts with Wenty and Windsor. The Roosters are one of the richest clubs in the League and provided another joint venture partner could be found for...

2011 NSW Cup

What about this going forward - NSW Cup 2011. All Sydney and Regional NRL clubs to have their own teams, Teams outside State to join or can go joint venture, New teams hoping to join NRL encouraged to join NSW or QLD Cup first - Rd 1 could be something like this Souths vs Newtown (Melbourne)...
