    I only saw the highlights so not exactly sure the context but I believe JWH had a go at Badger in the in-goal after a try? If that is the case the referee obviously can't penalise or march 10 metres so the sin bin was the only alternative.

    Of course it?s irrelevant, in the same way 99.99% of posts on this forum are. It was merely an observance on the BAC levels of various countries which Aus has close ties and similarities, and how it would not have been an offense there. "Just sayin" was a clue.

    The NFL don?t have to ban the shoulder charge because there is sufficient impact absorption in the foam and plastic composition of the shoulder pads, as well as from helmets. The dimensions of the shoulder pads also tend to deflect impacts to the head. NRL players don?t enjoy such safeguards...

    The officials are not going to be inline with the play from a line break unless they're all Usain Bolt in pace. Can't judge forward passes from behind the play.

    Penalty try (d) the Referee may award a penalty try if, in his opinion, a try would have been scored but for the unfair play of the defending team. A penalty try is awarded between the goal posts irrespective of where the offence occurred.
