    I reckon the storm would give him the get out clause if Hughes re-signs but not that loan deal in 2026. What's the point of having a backup halfback if they're playing for someone else.

    Almost half the comp is going to have a crack at signing Leo, and it's not because he's ordinary. It's because he is likely the next JFH / Moses Leota (two guys who don't blow up the stats sheet but contribute hugely to the Panthers being so good). I will admit Leo did have some stinkers to end...

    Moses is 30 and has previous form forcing an early release (absolutely dogged it for the Tigers). If the Eels are bad again next year can definitely see him trying to manoeuvre his way to a decent team. I also think if the Nicho Hynes pile on continues there might be something there.

    Yeah, but in the context of clubs having an advantage with TPAs, the knights don't get any benefit from KPs marketability when his salary is all under the cap.     It's a Brent Read article. Says the storm have a three year extension on the table, Pezet doesn't want to leave and there might be a clause that if Hughes extends past 2026 Pezet could leave.
