    Re-start to season

Penrith is regarded as one of the two hotspot local government areas for Covid-19, along with The Hills. Wholely and solely due to Westmarch House. Even Waverley is now in the clear. Still, it looks like they are about to start cramming people into public transport and Qantas plans to fly fully...

GI - out of retirement to Warrington

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I don't recall any salary cap discount for Wallace, or Sam McKendry for that matter. I think they got a discount for Tim Grant though, following the Inglis precedent, but he was on chickenfeed anyway.

    2020 R3 Sat - Storm 6-22 Raiders @ AAMI

Very hard game to pick. I'll go Storm.

    2020 R3 Sat - Sharks 16-28 Wests Tigers @ Bankwest

Sharks have lost to 2 quality opponents and always start slow. They might have to wait another week to open their account. This grounds arrangement suits them since they were playing at Kogarah this year anyway.

    2020 R3 Sun - Panthers 14-14 Knights @ Campbelltown

He's been going orright since the shoulder job.

    Round 3 vs the Knights

Any ideas why Panthers Stadium was overlooked? Anything to do with proximity to Newmarch House?

    2020 R3 Fri - Roosters 28-12 Rabbitohs @ Bankwest

No they're not. The Cows lost their first 3 in 2015 and were in the top 4 by round 8, never to leave.

    Round 3 vs the Knights

You wouldn't drop Leota for Leniu. The latter will get his chance, he'll just have to wait his turn like everyone else.

More Sydney clubs will merge within the next decade - Gould

In the Penrith local government area probably. Could be wrong but they seem to be out there. What proportion of Newcastle league fans support the Knights? What proportion of Canberra league fans support the Raiders? Why should Penrith be any different?

More Sydney clubs will merge within the next decade - Gould

Maybe they should have that survey then because that's not my experience living in the district.

    The great Arthur Summons RIP

He was just before my time following the game, but I've seen the scratchy film of the GF's. What surprises me is that he only played 60 first grade games, having switched from Union mid-career.

    2020 R3 Thu - Broncos 6-34 Eels @ Suncorp

Broncos by plenty. Parramatta are a boil on the arse of Rugby League.

    2020 R3 Sun - Panthers 14-14 Knights @ Campbelltown

Knights pack hasn't changed much from the one that caved in so spectacularly last round last year. I think we'll have them covered. Pearce the danger, needs to be closely watched, JFH style.

    2020 NRL draw re-release

By May 30, AFL will be in full contact training, maybe the Raiders game will be in Melbourne.

    They deserve it.

    Penrith's greatest ever coaches

He was our coach in 1974 before all those other roles, taking us to the final of the inaugural Amco Cup, but due to club politics Jack Clare was the official coach although no more than a talking head. Masters went back to reserves the following year when Mike Stephenson was made captain-coach...

    Penrith's greatest ever coaches

Royce's period as Panthers coach coincided almost exactly with an era of increasing tries scored per game, rising from a low point of 5.4 in 1992 (the year before the 10 metre rule came in) to 8.5 in 2002. There was a plateau for a couple of years and then it started to fall again, ever so...

    Penrith's greatest ever coaches

I think Men in Black was a reprint and update.

    Penrith's greatest ever coaches

Roy Masters actually. Jack Clare wasn't even a football coach. He was just a talking head. This was an example of what can happen when you've got a committee that is rife with factions and you try to keep them all happy. From the book "Men in Black" "At the beginning of 1973, Penrith invited...

    News Coronavirus and NRL

No need to get personal. Isn't there a footballer in rehab right now due to poor life decisions? Hasn't he been a twat at times? He doesn't seem to be copping it. League Unlimited is a good resource mainly because there are few other forums for the game, but it is no better at all than...
