    Cleary v Ponga

I think the comparison is a little fairer than people care to admit considering Ponga plays like a 6 and is likely destined to move there long term (like Moylan but successful). But Cleary has proven he is better. At least, right now.

    Sooo... Cooper Cronk...

So how do you explain the other 6 years of ineptitude?

Brooks and Moses how will they go from here?

Moses has steadily developed over the past two years and has the capability to be on the same level as Tedesco. Brooks is tough to read. There are times when we looks like he could be just as good, and then others when he doesn't really do much. I think his biggest problem is confidence and...

    2016 Wk 3 Prelim - Storm 14-12 Raiders @ AAMI Park

Nobody wants to see Melbourne win another premiership through wrestling. C'mon Raiders! Give us the Grand Final we deserve!

Its official - Farah to leave

I'm sure we're paying at least $600k. I really don't see any team picking Farah up for more than $350k...

    2016 R26 - Wests Tigers 10-52 Raiders @ Leichhardt Oval

Hoping the Raiders take it easy so as not to risk injury tbh. I think that's the only way we can beat them haha. We don't have Benji anymore...

    2016 R24 - Panthers 40-10 Wests Tigers @ Pepper Stadium

I knew we would lose but didn't think we'd lose this badly. There goes our slim finals hopes. Congrats to the Panthers. Hope they go on and win the whole thing.

Match Discussion: Round 24 vs Panthers @ Pepper Stadium

Let's see... Panthers coming in with really good form Already beat the Panthers this year which means they'll be primed for payback (especially Moylan since Teddy outshone him last time) Lost our best player and replacing him with Rankin Unless Brooks and Moses kill it, we'll most likely be...

Anyone want to revise their predictions...

For all the talk about the Storms' experience, they haven't won a home final since 2012. I don't see them making the grand final.

    Tommy Turbo or Latrell Mitchell

Tom Trbojevic, definitely. Looks like he'll be competing with Teddy for the NSW fullback spot in years to come. I don't get the hype of Latrell Mitchell. Strong runner of the football but constantly seems to stunt the attack and take the wrong option in the 20m zone. Although to be fair I...

Match Discussion: Round 23 vs Titans @ Campbelltown Stadium

A bit unfair to fault Moses on goalkicking, I think the Titans only got 1/4 so if theirs was even marginally better we still would've lost. Came down to not having the right plays and throwing lazy passes, leading to all those intercepts. While the refs were bad, I think both sides got their...

    2016 R23 - Wests Tigers 18-19 Titans @ Campbelltown Stadium

Congrats Titans fans, well deserved win. Much more energy and heart than we showed. Gutted we've probably lost Tedesco for the year. Hopefully Brooks comes back next week and balances the team out. But in all honesty, I think that's our season done and dusted.

Any news on signings / departures for next season?

I like that idea. I've always thought that Hoffman could be the best winger in the league but he's had his heart set on playing fullback. Average fullback but one hell of a winger.

Where will we finish and what should happen after

The next two games are very winnable, Dragons and Eels both depleted. Although if we're being fair, we probably can only afford to drop one game throughout that entire run which is ridiculously unlikely. The Cowboys-Titans-Panthers-Warriors stretch is the big one. I can easily see us losing...

Congrats James Tedesco - Origin 3 fullback

I thought Teddy went alright, but certainly not MOTM. He seemed to be second guessing himself and didn't always take the right option (did he pass more than once?). His positioning wasn't as strong as it usually is either. Could just be nerves though, and to be fair he wasn't regularly receiving...

    2016 Origin III - NSW 18-14 QLD @ ANZ

Tedesco is my favourite player, but he never passed all game and was covered quite well by the QLD defence. Moylan on the other hand actually looked quite good at 6, seemed to be threatening with his passing and he threw the pass for Ferguson's break. Although give Teddy a few more games and I'm...

    JAC to storm

I just don't get the point in buying a player for a year, having them show promise, and then offloading them. Baffles me. By all accounts, it wasn't costing much to retain him either.

    The Bunker

Cowboys v Manly in the 2012 finals. Manly ground the ball in-goal trying to pick it up. Thurston asked the ref why it wasn't a drop out, and he said something about it not being intentional grounding. Though I've never heard that before or since.
