    The club needs to make a decision whether they’re serious about trying to win the comp in the next 1.5-2.5 yrs. IMO our top 17 is close to good enough to give it a shake. They are aging however. If we aren’t looking to sign a hooker then we’re wasting our time, we may as well start rejuvenating...

    It all comes back to our 9. A good hooker brings their forwards on to the ball, engages the markers, attacks through the ruck, throws quick passes out in front of the receiver, ties up the middle in defence. Our team would look completely different if we had someone that could do this.

    We dropped off from the 30 minute mark, struggled with the heat as soon as we didn’t have the bulk of possession. Except for lussick, he maintained a consistent shit level the whole game

    Well on a positive note I don’t think Russel can play any worse in the 2nd half. pretty courageous effort from Lussick. He was struggling for about 40 minutes and managed to pushed through to half time. Even managed a few slow motion barge over attempts from close range
