To be fair the right edge sorted itself out after the early wobble.

The bigger worry is Jed and Kaeo repeatedly letting bombs hit the deck. It's been a bad habit for a little while now. I guess we have a ready made improvement in a couple of rounds when Tamale gets back but it won't fly in finals.

He bought Sione Finau in for outside back cover over the top of Jed for next season. If Ricky was getting all nepo dad about it he'd have just settled for Jed and 3 ACL version of Hoppa.

I had my concerns but I think Ricky is competitive enough that he'd push over his grandma or drop his own son just to win.
