    So what I’m getting from this is that nobody can win the comp.. so far this thread states; 1. There’s no sentiment that it’s a three horse race (Melbourne, Roosters, Cowboys) because they’re too up and down 2. Manly are no hope 3. Dragons and warriors were laughed off as an April fools joke 4...

    I guess the point I’m making is that it’s not a three horse race. The roosters, Melbourne and cowboys aren’t necessarily the only teams in the running. Everyone in here seems resigned to it.

    Nicely put, mate. Good post. I’d agree with Cooper looking sluggish as well. One thing you can’t knock is their effort though.. all of them.

    Standing by it. Thurston was terrible last night. Scott was slow and ineffective. Don’t be surprised if neither plays out the year. Fake injuries and a lap of honour at 1300 SMILES before the season reached its half way point..

    If you re-read the post, it states Thaiday wouldn’t make first grade a any other club. Not the others. As for the “only joined today” comment, not really sure what that supposed to mean? You’re some kind of forum veteran knob? Haha

    I wouldn’t piss them off, but I certainly wouldn’t let any more young payers leave in order to retain them. JT is retiring, granted. That’s good for the cowboys’ future.

    I don’t think it’s the injuries.. they both have a full preseason under their belts.. just like everyone else. They looked like old men playing young men. The way nikorima ran around thurston and Scott dropping off tackles was pretty ordinary. Boyd might be better served moving his old legs...

    Thurston, Scott and Boyd for the first time all looked Old last night. Thaiday wouldn’t be in first grade at any other cub..
