Thurston, Scott and Boyd for the first time all looked Old last night.
Thaiday wouldn’t be in first grade at any other cub..

Thurston & Scott are into their 2nd game back after a long time away. Lack of match fitness would have a lot to do with them ‘looking’ old.
Boyd seemed ok but generally has a disinterested look so you never know.
Thaiday doesn’t look old, it’s just the game has passed him by.

Indeed

I’m sure all clubs would knock all three back

Insightful parrot, you’re thinking two moves ahead

The rest of us just can’t keep up

Thurston and Scott are returning from major injuries, they will take longer to get match fit at that age but check back halfway through the season.
Boyd has now got chronic hamstring issues because he was rushed back to play last year and reinjured himself. That's not age related, that's mismanagement.

I don’t think it’s the injuries.. they both have a full preseason under their belts.. just like everyone else. They looked like old men playing young men. The way nikorima ran around thurston and Scott dropping off tackles was pretty ordinary.

Boyd might be better served moving his old legs into 5/8 and Milford could shift to fullback.

Thaiday should have been moved on..

Too true

We should piss JT and scott off and throw the bank at nikorima

It’s like you’re channeling Cyril Connell

Boyd is definitely injury related. His hamstring has been wrecked too much and will never be the same.

Match fitness = / = pre-season fitness.

I wouldn’t piss them off, but I certainly wouldn’t let any more young payers leave in order to retain them. JT is retiring, granted. That’s good for the cowboys’ future.

Broncos have a pretty good replacement for Boyd in Jamayne Isaako

Someone's cranky.

Lol

Not at all

I stated in the game thread the broncos deserved the win. They played better than us on the night

Pangai was huge for them as was Milford and Mc Cullough

Suggesting that JT or Scott wouldn’t make first grade at any other nrl team by a poster whose account was created today is pretty laughable

If you re-read the post, it states Thaiday wouldn’t make first grade a any other club. Not the others.
As for the “only joined today” comment, not really sure what that supposed to mean? You’re some kind of forum veteran knob? Haha
