    Will be a big missed opportunity if we don’t go to Christchurch as one of the next 3 expansion teams. What a perfect stadium for an nrl team and a perfect opportunity to create an awesome local derby.

    Katy Perry has been around a lot longer. Checkout the spotify listens and you'll see they are a lot closer. Also she's well past her prime at this stage while Kid Laroi's star is growing. I'd say with the kind of demographic the NRL should be chasing, ie gen Z, Kid Laroi is a much bigger star...

    Laroi is a great coup for NRL especially in a year that AFL are coping flack for Katy Perry who's best is well behind her. He's already a big name and on the rise especially with gen Z. Probably the biggest name NRL GF has had for some time.

    I just don't think it's the right strategy to make it feel like a tentpole event by making it 4 games and mixing in super league. It will have a carnival day feel which is not synonymous with a major marketable sporting event. People will come in staggered throughout the day. They'll head to...

    Heard on the radio that the Queensland government are confirming their stance on not building a new stadium. New reason mentioned is because of the ioc requirement to have a warm up athletics track nearby. Which is not possible with a Victoria park location apparently.
