    Main concerns with expansion are: - NRL becomes a bit too broad and less tribal, much like the S18 expansion. Some differences with closer nations though. PNG away trips will be amazing for clubs. - Quality of games, which again a feature of the S18 expansion. With the Bears competing in NSW...

    The next big question is, should the NRL leave to a different streaming service, how will News react through their papers? I suspect it would be another doom loop whereby AFL will be the focus and northern readers will simply leave. At least at the next negotiation the NRL knows what AFL is...
