I've twice picked really long-odds cup winners just on a whim; even tipped-off others, but didn't place a bet myself!

Hmm. Looks like it is about time for you Tigers supporters to let slip that you are in talks to lease a submarine base to China in Blackwattle Bay. That should be worth an easy $billion and a standalone place as the comp's 20th team.

Don't jump on me but when I watched his highlights I thought he had a little bit of that Michael Hancock (broncos) pinball quality, hits the ground, bounces up, takes off again. Enthusiastic.

I watched a couple of his highlight reels. Very impressive however nrl is another level above ra ra 7s. Hope he can adapt well. Definitely looks the goods.

He won't get a run until late in the season, I should think. But even in reserves, how can he get match fitness with so many backline candidates?

The amount of running and collision from 7’s is huge ( esp running) his fitness will not be the issue

I was for a maximum of two in the tackle in the oppositions 25 then I realised i supported the Tigers so we should be allowed three

I'm sure after pre-season training, Lawson will rate very well and hopefully his fitness will be right up there. 80mins on the wing is not like 80min in the forwards or halves.

Hes got a good physique for a league player.

That tough lankyness we all like to see.



And it’s a chunk of muscle, he looks bloody hard.

That torso is V all the way and with the bonus jutted wireyness which we know can be painful to tackle.
