    Autumn 2024

All the other stuff aside, it would be nice to be able to splash out 10Mill for a horse.

    Lets talk about Scum..

Although my dislike for the scum seems to have mellowed over the years it's not disappointing to seem them aboard the relegation train again. Big Sam cashed in at their expense as well I see.

Nominated again for Sunday at the same track and nearly same distance. Keep an eye on the weather.

I see her half brother won the all age stakes yesterday as well. I'm pretty sure the sire has been shipped off overseas.

I got 16's. Had a shekel or two on her as well :) Am hoping the cold and rain continues for some time.

    Autumn 2023

She shouldn't be running currently, if it was up to me she wouldn't be. Seems she will have one more then have a spell and come back for the winter softer/heavy tracks which she actually loves to run on.

    Spring 2022

Only just saw this. Tried something different with her and ran her up close to pace and over a longer distance. I thought she did ok considering the track was too hard for her. She stresses really bad when she gets to the track so she's running currently to try and get her more used to...

    Spring 2022

Last night they sent an email to me offering $150 in bonus cash backs if I cashed in my bet before the first race today. They must be big time worried about the favourite.

    Spring 2022

They may have well just have offered $200 to sign up with them :) As soon as I saw it i jumped on. They are also offering $101/1 for all teams in the football world cup this year. the NRL next season and the Melbourne cup horses. Hopefully i get up on those three as well.

What did you pay for your horse to go to scissor kick at the time? I am pretty sure I read that Giga Kick was first purchased for $6,100.00.

    Spring 2022

I have heard that as well but I am not 100% sure. There are a few of his running around at the moment with mixed results, mine is back from a long spell and hopefully about to trial next week.

    Spring 2022

I was super happy to see Giga Kick win the Everest. Been following that one as it has the same sire as one of my two, decent odds as well. Its race prior at Flemington was a good win so I was not in the least surprised to see it run well.

I wasn't impressed either :) They opened her up at a good price too. She loves the heavy tracks so keep an eye out for her over the winter.

She did look like she was going to get there. just needed a few more meters. Couldn't have been wider on the track unfortunately she lost a bit of ground getting shifted out that wide. Haven't talked to our trainer yet to see if she pulled up ok but hopefully we are back at the races asap.

    The LU Huddersfield Town Thread

It's looking good for at least a play off spot.

    Wine thread

I went with the St Henri. I love the Blackwell Shiraz, it's possibly the Shiraz i like most. I have a few different vintages here currently. If you order directly from St Hallett be prepared to wait, they don't ever appear to be in any type of hurry to process orders there. :)

    Wine thread

Finally moving into the house we have been building for the last 12 months and looking in the wine fridge I've narrowed it down to 2 with which to celebrate with Saturday afternoon I think. Either a 2006 St Henri Shiraz or a 2014 St Hallett Old Block Shiraz. I'm thinking the St Hallett may need...

    Autumn 2022

I don't really get how it benefits horse racing to be encroaching on each others big carnival days just to piss them off. Then again I'm not from Sydney or Melbourne so give no f**ks about how folk in either city feel about each other :)
