    4th Test: Australia v India @ MCG Dec 26-30, 2024

It certainly makes sense when you see that the one being dropped is the one the selector isn't mates with...

    4th Test: Australia v India @ MCG Dec 26-30, 2024

I think the point though is he did about as well as he could and dropping him is a farce, tbh. I don't think anyone would say he's killed it. But he showed he has the attitude needed and failing against the best bowler in the world is hardly something you can blame a veteran of three tests for...

    4th Test: Australia v India @ MCG Dec 26-30, 2024

He has looked to score the two innings he's lasted to a point where he's felt he had the opportunity. Adelaide especially, second inns of the last test was a write off really. I don't think you can fault the bloke for starting out tying to survive against the best bowler in the world, in a new...

    4th Test: Australia v India @ MCG Dec 26-30, 2024

As opposed to all the other T20 boneheads being so successful trying to score (Trav excluded). You can't rag on T20 as the death of cricket and then also rag on an old school Test approach...

    4th Test: Australia v India @ MCG Dec 26-30, 2024

Haha were useless. Will they also chuck Konstas out when Bumrah nicks him off 4 times for the rest of the series?

    4th Test: Australia v India @ MCG Dec 26-30, 2024

It would be classic of our selectors to keep underperforming old players and scapegoat a guy three tests in to a role he's never played before. McSweeney will be like Trav. Give him the time and he'll succeed. Different style obvs, but any new players take time to settle because the Shield is...

    3rd Test: Australia v India @ Gabba Brisbane Dec 14-18, 2024

They might just be happy to play the game out and see what happens. No Hazelwood, there's merit in not killing Starc and Cummins looking for a near impossible win. Especially when our spinner is bald and useless.

    3rd Test: Australia v India @ Gabba Brisbane Dec 14-18, 2024

If he was batting 7 and bowling 15+ overs every innings (I do think his average with the ball doesn't reflect his ability as a bowler, he doesn't bowl enough) then ok, but he's batting fking 6 and being used as a part timer. Webster is a much better bat. And if he's only gonna bowl 5 overs as a...

    3rd Test: Australia v India @ Gabba Brisbane Dec 14-18, 2024

The shield is an average competition. Impossible for it to produce superstar players. We're gonna have to hope some of the leading bats kick on at a higher level, because there's not much value in CAs molested shield comp IMO
