He gave me his socks in Perth Reds last ever game here in Perth. All the ball boys went straight to the Canberra sheds and not the home team. That was one insane team.

Traditionally we've done very well against Victoria as 12, 15s and open mens. It's only the 18s which have struggled based on the Vics having a genuine pathway to build them up.

Yep I've seen kids from our u15s State team running water the following season because they are not allowed to play.

It was half our best kids (rest lost to Rugby & NSW/QLD league programs) on a 12 week crash coarse straight into SG Ball that was getting flogged. Most those kids had never seen the inside of a gym or been through a proper conditioning program.

The two pathway will run independently at HM and SG Ball level. Its important for WA Rugby League to offer an alternative pathway to the Force asap as we have issues with the Force pushing "no Rugby League" contracts on 15/16 year olds. Having been at Pirates verse Bears SG Ball games (when...

Could bring in HM for 25/26 - start training them in 8 months time. Bring in SG Ball 1 year later. NRLWA should be running a summer camp asap if this all goes ahead to lead them into HM next year.

Where do you think the Perth Consortium and the WA state government might live ..... you don't think it would be a combined announcement?

I'm lucky enough to have contacts within the WA side. I'm passionate about having a Perth side but I have absolutely zero interest in making stuff up on an internet forum ... believe what you will.

There was a press conference booked for the Thursday after the GF .... its fair to say from both the Perth and NRL sides this has not gone to plan.

Bailey Millar played the first three rounds and dislocated his Elbow. He was eligible and wasn't in QLD. Jaylen Grey played two games for North Beach this year. Korey Craig (First grade players player) was injured. Daruis Rogers (half back of the year) picked up by Burleigh. Jesse Rafferty...

Just from Beach on those two games: Two of the states best missed playing because they were just picked up for Burleigh Bears. Another was away with South African RL staff on a development tour in SA.

No its not the WA state governments preference and I wouldn't say they are happy .... but they also want a team.

There sure wasn't - but the NRL's scorched earth attitude is very poor form.

That is the whole point Matt - the bid team had spend $700,000 to prepare a very significant document that was pumping millions into both Perth & North Sydney Rugby League and V'landy or Abdo couldn't even contact them to discuss the issues before going public. Extremely poor form.
