    One other factor. Are any competitions in Australia outside NRL full time professional? NL1 is mainly semi-pro but Castleford Tigers are all full time professional as were Salford and Huddersfield when they were in that comp. You get the odd player at other teams too who are full time pro.

    20000 sounds a bit exagerated, I heard 3000 for last years final, besides they would definately fall down on playing strength, they normally lose against BARLA sides and have no chance against NL1 sides.

    Okay accepting that the NRL and Super League are the two strongest competitions in the World, what would come in third place. Maybe NL1, NSW premiership?(maybe that one shouldn't count as it's a feeder comp to NRL) Queensland cup? Bartercard cup? France Elite 1? I suppose several factors...

    Okay it's a long time since I watched American football but who on earth are the 'Philadelphia Soul'? Arena football team maybe? Anyway when are we going to get an official announcement about the two new teams? Still no update on the website and the new season isn't too far off.
