Great result for NSW...Cam Smith, Thurston and Hunt had nothing on NSW's defense which Bellamy had structured perfectly.

Gasnier had a great game as did Quinn and Wallace...Cross and White held their own but will need to step up a notch to match the Qld forwards in the next game.

Qld missed Price big time; Hannant and Thaiday were non existant as well...I definitely think that NSW have it over them in the forwards and will do so for the whole series.

You're sarcasm is noted but I'm betting you're a youngster who wasn't around in the 70's when if you didn't play for Manly you couldn't get a look in rep teams. It was rife. 6,7 and 8 players in every rep team. Not all were worthy either.

Most of those I've talked to are utterly confused at how Bird got MOM. Regardless, he can play the same game at Lock, Anasta is a better 5/8th. Tupou was non existent and Hornby is sh*t. There should be a spot for Anasta in game 2.
