Congrats to Manly and best of luck for the rest of the finals. I thought they defended very well and to win by the club's biggest margin in finals footy against a so called bogey team is a great effort.

As for the the Dragons I was expecting a better showing and to think last week they were playing for a top 4 spot and are now out of the finals is very disappointing. My heart sunk in the 58th minute when Brett Stewart scored that try.

I think Manly can go all the way. How they manage to hold off pressure and then score a try completely against the run of play amazes me, but also how they can continue the onslaught afterward. Good Luck to Manly, and I hope you beat Melbourne, although, I would like the Wests Tigers to be the most recent Sydney team to win :D.

Love manlys attitude in defence...love that bullying, standover type of footy in D...inspiring each other to continue the assault

I can't believe Brown allowed Cooper and Gasnier to dictate who plays in the team, especially in a semi.
Rogers was terrible last week against the Rorters and was probably why the lost that game.
Last night he was pathetic.
I feel for Jamie Soward. Hopefully under a decent coach he might be given a better go. No wonder Brown was sacked.
and how bad were Gaz and Cooper.......aweful. KARMA.

I tipped Manly.

Hayne & the two jokers upstairs were truly woeful in the first half, gave Manly a saloon run - but that's no excuse for the inept showing Saints put in after halftime. A disappointing showing in all from the team who really should've been the dark horse.

How was Soward not included?

Manly a saloon run?

Saints got the first three penalties of the match, Manly didn't get their first penalty until around the 20 minute mark.

The Saints try that was disallowed was a fair try (imo), the try they scored should of been disallowed because of a forward pass.

I thought Hayne was awful in the first half to both sides, particularly his tackle/play the ball interpretations.

I wasn't aware that headers were an OK form of advancing the ball. Menzies try was a joke. Then Watmough holding players, causing a blue infield allowing Orford to run around... how isn't that a penalty to Saints? Just some real dodgy decisions against the Saints early on which IMO ruined the game. At the end of the day they couldn't mark up against the power running Manly created. A fairer representation would've been a 38-18 scoreline, the Saints weren't as bad as 38-6 but were never going to win with that second half effort.

Advancing the ball with his head? I was only watching it on the hill but it looked like it just tapped his head accidentally.

It wasn't pretty, but headers are not knock on's.
Not sure about the Watmough incident but I will take your word for it (Rodgers involved?).
Both teams got dodgy decisions early on, not just Saints.
I agree the scoreline was not a true indication, it was scrappy football from both sides for a fair bit of it.
