Congratz to both sides

After such a negative week, and 2 horrid opening games to start the weekend, this had EVERYTHING going for it that makes league such a great match.

Ground packed to the rafters, looked sensational on the TV and created an awesome atmosphere for the players to perform. Drama all throughout the game, all the skills on display, great kicking, a flyer in space getting knocked over close to the line by sensational cover defence, grubbers just behind the line being recovered. A nice little push and shove, a couple of blokes in the bin, Prestons 1 handed on the fly takes, and his try, and the Titans player flying to stop the 40/20. And a few of the unforced errors added to the drama of the game as well. Best of all played in the sunshine on a sunday afternoon.

Only real downer for me was Gould's bias towards the Titans.

Only downside

Titans poor away record continues, but they did fight back to make a game of it at least. They're losing close games, instead of being blown out, so that's one improvement.
If they cut out some of the silly mistakes they're making, they'll win their share of road games.

Very important game for them against the sharkies, if they lose that, they'll be right back in the pack. Hopefully the doggies can soften the Sharks up a bit tomorrow night.

3/4 tipping thus far, bloody Manly.

Great game, a game I attended and one that I will remember for a long time despite the loss.

Congrats to the Tigers team. You deserved the win.

As I keep saying, to move from the pretenders to contenders catergory, we need to improve on our abysmal away record that would have to be the worst % in the NRL today no doubt. It's simply. Win our fair share and we are going to put ourselves in a good position for the business end of the year.

Good to see some blue the crowd!
