Such a strange performance by the Tigers. Based on their completion rate and failure to ruck the ball of their own line I'd say it was the worst performance since 2002. On the hand, their tenacious defence deserve commendation- it was better that anything I've seen since the old Balmain days. Hopefully we find consistency in the coming weeks...

Roosters were a much better side and deserved the victory.

The Roosters completion rate was actually worse it was just you guys had no field position through a piss poor kicking game

Fair enough. I'd rather my team were dropping it on the attack rather than spilling it 20 metres out 6 sets in a row!! The Tiges have never adapted well to wet weather but this must've been their worst performance.

How come at the press conference no one asked Tim Sheens why his players kept kicking on the 3rd & 4th tackle?

Tim Sheens doesn't get asked any hard questions by the media.

To answer your question, apparently they were instructed by Sheens himself to kick early. **** knows why.

Why is it that when the roosters have won this season, after each game the opposing supporters on this forum claim it was their team's "worst performance" either this season or in the past few seasons. Everyone is too stubborn to give credit towards the Roosters and admit that their team were outplayed.

Who cares.
We know were playing good this year, don't be all insecure about it, we don't need no1's approval except our own fans.

We are, and for years have been, diabolical in the rain. Tonight showed it, and there have been plenty of other shockers we've played in the rain over the years. Roosters did what they had to do to win. Playing the Tigers in the wet is a guaranteed 2 points.

I just got in and would like to say that if either disallowed try was given I wouldn't have an issue. I thought we were never going to lose tonight, it was just one of the games in spite of the boys clocking off in that second half. Would also like to say hats off to the Tigers fans for some good ol' fashion banter, helped make the rain more than bearable.

Not true. You guys beat us (the Knights) very comfortably last year at Newcastle, 33-14, the week that those torrential floods and rain occured in June. It was wet as. There had been even talks before the game that the might might not go ahead.

I reckon the Roosters would've won by 30 if it was dry. the Tigers are not in the same class as the Roosters.

You are right. The Tigers played amazing but the Roosters somehow just managed to outplay and played brilliantly. Sensational game of footy.

I dunno, those claiming the Tigers were terrible (They were in attack) and should have gone down by 40, except the Roosters didn't play that well are giving the Roosters credit in a roundabout way.

Sign of a good team is when you're still winning games comfortably even when playing bad.

A cruciate ligament, broken leg or arm, hammy, ankle?

Nup, nothing.

Terrible, I'm going to write to gallop about this.
Hang on Tori Amos, did her ankle ligs. out for a couple. Spoons for Souffs.

And for the record, I would have awarded Benefit of doubt to Baeu's effort, and no try Easts scrum feed to Pearce's.
