Friend and shack did not end up playing because freddy decided to make two changes to the team he made on tuesday. James Aubs was fit enough to play, so he swapped around with friend (Jaubs>Friend). Id say that freddy put M.Paea in because shack is returning from injury and he does not want to rush him back.

FULLTIME: Game over here at Dairy Farmers Stadium where the Roosters have put in a dominant second half to run out 32-20 victors. It was a better performance from the Cowboys but they were kept scoreless in the second half thanks to some desperate Roosters defence.

Cowboys were depleted they should not scored that many points or have been in front at half time against a near full strength roosters team.

Like i said the roosters would be battling for the spoon if they didnt have such an favourable draw

So all that wrestling that is continually complained about, the win-the-ruck and up-the-middle-third play, the set moves close to the opponents line, that's not part of a "plan" - it somehow just mysteriously evolves directly out of the players using their skill alone? Bellamy never tells them to do it?

I'm no fan of Bellamy's actual tactics - but to say he doesn't have any is frankly clueless. And it's obviously not doing them any good either eh, they're merely languishing on the table in second place, apparently.

And for a St George supporter to complain about another team's luck in the draw this season, is ridiculous. The Roosters have a tough run home home; we've got Eels (SFS), Storm (Oly. Pk), Sharks (Shark Pk), Rabbitohs (SFS), Dragons (SFS). Note the two away games against fellow top four sides.

I half agree with Gaba and Meatwad, Graig Bellamy is a good coach but would not be half as good if he didnt have a whole SOO squad.

Favourable draw :lol: yeah and the cowboys are coming last because their draw isn't favourable. Has nothing to do with that fact they have no depth in their squad and play poorly every week :sarcasm: (with the exception of last night).

Cowboys had the crowd, ref and momentum the whole first half and leading into the 2nd half. You guys should of gone on to win it, but the Roosters showed they have the courage and mentality to come from behind and prove they are a top 4 team.

I tend to agree until I see him coach a team without so many superstars. For example he failed to win state of origin this year with a lesser team, and with his storm teammembers making up a large, important part of his opposition.

IMO, its the quality of players at melbourne, and not the coaching, that is behind the storms successes. I'd like to see how bellamy went in charge of the cowboys, rabbits, bulldogs from the start of this year, if he could get the likes of them into the top 8 then I would admit hes a great coach, and not overrated.
