This game was utterly woeful. A classic Warriors performance. They play themselves into some kind of supporter confidence, then turn around and punch you in the face with a dismal display like that.
We should have completely annihilated the Bunnies, no question about it. Considering we straigh-up butchered at least 3 tries, it was still on the cards despite our useless playmakers.
Rovelli actually did not play any worse than he has the last 4 weeks or so - the difference was our forwards didn't dominate as well, Fai (90% of our attack) had butter fingers, and we had general bad luck andbrain explosions throughout the match.
Sonny Fai played as though he had been psyched up way too much before the match. Clearly Cleary told him that he and Manu were going to be the focus of our attack, and were expected to tear apart the Bunnies, and he was overthinking every move, not concentrating on catching the damn ball first. Terrible management of a promising young player, and he better be selected again this week or it could ruin him.
