So instead of it being a disgraceful decision in which Cecchin missed a blatant strip, it's a disgraceful decision where Cecchin failed to call advantage. Seeing as the outcome was correct I don't see the need to complain too much.

Yes Price stripped the ball with the back of his knuckles. Well done. In any case I'm more concerned with the fact the referee has to call a scrum as an excuse to go back and check a decision rather than just making a call either way.

Good first half, Warriors leading 10-8 at halftime

WAR: Matulino and McKinnon tries, Witt 1/2
BRI: Hannant try, Parker 2/2

A try before halftime always stings, but I don't think the Broncos are going to be hanging themselves just yet. Too much class in that team to be worried about a 2 point halftime margin.

Besides with Witt kicking at 50% we might only be going up in lots of 4. :sarcasm:

He reefed it out, even the comically biased Sky commentary crew acknowledged it.

I agree that it's alarming how reliant refs are on VR intervention, but that doesn't mean the Warriors were hard done by on that occasion.

Form is temporary, class is permanent!

Welcome to 2008. Its the way of the world in league.
I am sure if the same thing happened to the warriors (getting a penalty) you would not complain...what goes around comes around

It is mostly that gimp of an ex winger Daryl Halligan...NO f**kING CLUE that man has. The worst commentator in rugby league in the world...

ok I'm just going to clarify my initial statement. Those sort of strip penalties happen in every game against every team, but the fact that the referee had to make up a reason to call a scrm jst so he can check on something is what made it so disgraceful.

Like most NZ league fans I prefer the term "comically ignorant" as I don't think they're deliberately biased. Just as annoying, but not deliberate imo.
