i wouldn't be too worried as a roosters supporter as there are no weak teams come semis, your guys will be up for the big games and will give the comp a good shake barring unjuries

is that an 'easy' draw now?

i will only retract that statement about an easy draw, unless you can prove how you can justify the dragons had an easy draw and none of this origin rubbish, otherwise you have to include sharks and manly

and how its differs to roosters

Explain your theory that Roosters have an easy draw. This should be interesting. Considering during Origin we played without about 6 players and won 2 from 3. Why do I bother to argue with people who can't string 2 sensible thoughts together?

What does the amount of players in origin/games won during origin have to do with an easy or hard draw? That said, I don't think you had an easy draw.

The roosters have only beaten 2 teams who were in the 8 at the time of playing the roosters.

weaken manly and the bulldogs

the roosters lost to

weaken dragons
depleted goldcoast

struggled against depleted cowboys lost to out of form eels

and the record against the teams in the 8 at the time of playing the roosters , the record is 2 wins and 13 loses

for example

The first time roosters played the knights, the knights were in the 8 and won

2nd time the knights were out of the 8 and the roosters won

the roosters beat storm in round 3 when storm was out of the 8

You don't count the teams who are in the 8 now, you count the teams at the time of playing the roosters

The 2-13 record itself shows how the roosters are where they are on false pretenses, their majority of wins are against teams outside the 8 at the time of playing

FMD your theory is so flawed it is laughable. What does it matter if the team is in the 8 or not it is still the same team. So you are saying that because we played Melbourne in Round 3 it was easier because they werent in the 8 as opposed to if we had played them in Round 5 or so when they were??:crazy:

PS - Maxwell gave Parra their win today

So according to your theory:

When the Dragons beat Melbourne 36-12 during Origin (NOTE During Origin) we drop every aspect of player availability and just go to your crackpot theory of JUST because Melbourne was in the top 8 it was an astounding victory!

But when we beat Melbourne 10-6, because they were out of the eight, even though we don't count the strength of the clubs, it doesn't count as a strong victory.

You only have ever spilled two arguments on this forum from my reading, this 'Teams In Top 8' rubbish, and your 'Easy Draw' rubbish.

Oh, you also wonderfully forgot that when we beat Manly and Canterbury we also had a number of players out. Wow. Fancy that.

cant see why Freddie complained about the ref

he should have a look at the replay of those first two tries and see if he still thinks he was hard done by

Just watched a replay!

The temerity of Roosters fans to be complaining when the Roosters should NEVER have been rewarded their first two tries.

And they just simply ignore the fact the Eels should have received a penalty just before the Roosters third try for a blatant strip.
