Did anyone notice a coupple of sets back Shayne Hayne called 'surrender' on a roosters player who was still on his feet? How does that work?
I'm also staggered that the Drags didn't get a penalty for Creagh getting absolutely blind sided without the ball.

BTW this game is a lot better than I anticipated when I saw the conditions

The referee is being really lenient on players laying in the tackle, he's allowing both teams to do it, but it isn't pretty given the conditions.

Still a good game though.

Go damn Rogers is pathetic. And shame on Brown not picking Soward. Unlucky Roosters not to be up. Our boys are playing a sideways game which they reckon can win in the rain.....when we should be putting some nice little kicks behind your line (there is a mile of space there), but again Jamie isnt there to do that.

Brown = geniused

I think I've worked out the best way to beat Melbourne.

Set 1: take out Cooper Cronk off the ball - no penalty
Set 2: take out Inglis off the ball - no penalty
Set 3: take out Israel Falou off the ball - no penalty

Would work a treat, and apparently all legal too.

Young is killing ya's in attacking situations too. He keeps demanding the ball and then either dropping it or going straight to ground offering nothing

It's never good seeing a player go off the way Creagh did. Sa should have been given a penalty against him, but nada. Then he tried to take out Dell and was penalised for it. *shakes head*

Awesome match so far though.

Rogers and Gas have been worse than Young in attack tonight. Young at least got us close to the try line a few times. Soward definitely should have started. Bloody Rogers is all over the place. When he went over the advertising, I thought Soward might have gone on, but nope he remained on.

LOL @ Daley saying the WC Aus team will miss Mason.

Thank F*** he's injured, if that's what it takes to keep him out.

A penalty would have been the correct decision.
Took Creagh out with a blind side hit that ended up being a head clash

Yeah I'd agree with that - takled a player off the ball, but certainly there was no malice in it. Should have been a penalty to the Dragons right next to the posts.
