More confident in NSW's ability with Noddy at half than Wallace.

QLD haven't exactly set the world on fire and have still managed to win the series. Will it take a 30 point drubbing before NSW realise that their performances have been sh*t?

The Blues have just announced that the Bulldogs Luke Patten has been named NSW 18th man.

Sounds like Gidley's injury could be worse than first feared.

just heard that as well

another bulldog in the squad, not sure if im too happy with this considering warriors game, would think hayne could cover for fullback and bring another outside back.

well done to the general tho, great form this season

Would like to see Patten get a run. Good, solid decent player who it pretty underrated. Not in the same class as Slater, Stewart etc but would not let anyone down. Probably a better fullback than Gidley. I do not understand the wankfest with that bloke.

Neither do I.

One must ask, if Wok eyed Stewart was fit, he would obviously be the starting fullback. Where would this leave the beloved NSW captain?????? Utility bench spot??

Interesting spot to have your captain really.

Except Wing is a slightly better utility than Gidley is. I'd say the captain would be in jersey number 18.

Newcastle's Chris Houston has been named as 19th man for the Blues.

Johns trained on the wing today for the Blues. Hayne was fullback - Gidley still hasn't trained much at all ...

Absolutely no idea.

If Gidley's not going to be 100%, which he's not, why in God's name would you risk playing him? That'll only mean bad news for possibly the Blues come Wed night and then the Knights. If we're going to beat Qld, we need 17 fully fit players. Not 16 fully fit and 1 playing at 65%.

Because Kurt Gidley at 100% has yet to have a great Origin game... just like the rest of our side other then Jarryd Hayne. Not one of our players is good enough to be playing at anything less then 100%.
