This could be one of the ugliest games all season. Warriors are so inept and have no clue what they're doing on attack, and you can be sure Lockyer/Wallace will run the big boys at Jones and isolate him.

On the other hand who knows what the Broncos team will look like with Hunt and Kenny now in doubt after today's game, Wallace carrying a rib injury, Hodges and Folau uncertain.

Broncos will win imo, but it could be a very ugly win.

15 points wins the game for the Broncos, judging by our past eight weeks.

We lift for Broncos games, but the Broncos are at home, will have a huge crowd, and could put us away badly.

Why are they wearing the yellow?

The Brisbane Broncos will wear yellow jerseys to raise funds for cancer research in their July 3 match against the Auckland Warriors.
Yellow is the colour of Livestrong and the Lance Armstrong Foundation, which were established by cancer survivor and champion cyclist Lance Armstrong to raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.

Each Broncos player jersey features the Livestrong logo, Armstrong’s embroidered signature and will also be signed by the player. The jerseys will be auctioned post-match via a website, with all funds raised shared between the Lance Armstrong Foundation and Cancer Council
Queensland.
Brisbane Broncos CEO Bruno Cullen said the club was going yellow on July 3 to coincide with the start of the Tour de France, where Lance Armstrong will be attempting to claim a record eighth Tour victory.
“Too many people in our community are impacted by cancer – more than 42,000 people are expected to die from cancer in Australia this year alone,” he said.
“This is a shocking statistic and the Broncos wanted to help tackle this insidious disease.
“The Brisbane Broncos are proud to go yellow and raise funds for the Lance Armstrong Foundation and Cancer Council Queensland to strengthen cancer awareness, prevention, treatment and care.”
Cancer survivor Lance Armstrong is on a mission to tackle cancer globally.
“By 2010, cancer will be the number one killer globally, and here in Australia cancer is already the leading cause of death,” he said.
“A single person, organization or nation cannot tackle this epidemic alone. It will take a truly global effort to conquer cancer.”
Brisbane captain Darren Lockyer met Armstrong when he rode in Adelaide’s Tour Down Under in January.
“It was fantastic to meet him, explain the game of rugby league and have a chat about why he has chosen to come out of cycling retirement,” he said.
“Lance is on a mission globally to raise cancer awareness, and the Broncos players are proud to play a role in raising cancer awareness in Australia.”
People can start bidding for the Bronco jerseys from 7pm on Thursday July 2 at nikestore.com.au. The auction will be open for seven days.
About The Lance Armstrong Foundation
At the Lance Armstrong Foundation, we fight for the 28 million people around the world living with cancer today. There can be – and should be – life after cancer for more people. That's why we kick in at the moment of diagnosis, giving people the resources and support they need to fight cancer head-on. We find innovative ways to raise awareness, fund research and end the stigma about cancer that many survivors face. We connect people and communities to drive social change, and we call for state, national and world leaders to help fight this disease. Anyone anywhere can join our fight against cancer. Founded in 1997 by cancer survivor and champion cyclist Lance Armstrong, the LAF has raised more than US$250 million for the fight against cancer.

Broncos just need a win....one point, 40 points....doesnt matter. The only thing giving them hope for the top 8 is the fact that souths are 3 points below them and the panthers will fall out with their injuries.
Having said that, if the Broncos lose this game then write them off for the rest of 09

I'm still laughing hard at TBA on the bench. Still can't believe what i'm seeing. I wonder if Tunza has let himself go in retirement?

The definition of a must win game is this game for Brisbane. I won't write off the season if we can't get the job done as I still think when fit and firing after Origin, we are a top 8 team that can mix with the best in the competition.

Looking forward to the game, the Warriors always make for entertaining opposition.

Losing Hunt isn't going to make tonight any freaking easier. Damn.

Darren Lockyer will be in for a big game tonight, we need him to pull out a captain's effort in a bid to turn this season around.

Brisbane to win, Locky to take total control of the team and play direct up the middle third. Wallace to get his passing and kicking game in order. Izzy to move into the centres and get more involved. Izzy to score two tries from the cross field kicks. Parker perfect with the boot.

Come post game if I must, can I have sauce on those words :p

What's the word on what Henjak is going to do here?

With Hunt out, I think he will be tempted in to moving Hodges to fullback, Israel to centre whilst bringing in Yow Yeh.

Hoffman, who was originally named on the bench as a precaution, was coached and guided by Karmichael at training today, right up until Hunt left the field.
It soon became clear that Hoffman was to play and Hunt would be missing out, with coach Ivan Henjak officially announced the changes after training.
“K just wasn’t there," said Henjak.
"He just didn’t have the range to be able to run properly. It’s just a big risk, 80 minutes of footy.
“Maybe if he had another few days he might have been right.”
