When was the last time a front rower bagged a double?

Tonight: Clinton bagged one from both Lillyman and Ropati

But yeah, f**k was a good night for the front rowers, that Taylor guy is a f**king freight-train and a half.

Warriors can score no more than 14 points yet again. Very ordinary stuff. I feel sorry for their fans. Tipped as big contenders, won't even get near the 8 it seems.

If Panthers lose to the Eels, then that could just about be the top 8 done and dusted, due to our injuries and poor depth. Broncos have another 'gift' in a fortnight when they host Souths. There's some very ordinary sides in the comp this year.

The Warriors played like ass. Dropped balls when tries were begging. They were so heavily dominated they seemed afraid to take the ball up, that is until the Ropati hit - and then it was a centre who pulled it off.

Sure they can tackle, but they never dominate the tackle. Terrible to watch them now.

With the amount of possesion and bombed opportunities the Warriors had in the first half they could've put the Broncos away, but just like the Souths, Dragons and Titans games they blundered their way to a woeful inept loss when a win looked possible in the first half.

Having said that, the Warriors conditioning coach should be sacked. It was only 2004 when Anderson had the brainwave of bulking up the team at the expense of skills and fitness, and only 5 years later our moronic staff has decided to do it again.

I feel for the Warriors tonight, I really do, the amount of games they just let slip past them is staggering and it appears to be another season of dissapointment.

With that said, obviously I'm happy with the two points and glad we have the bye coming up - this victory should keep us in good stead leading into the finals. I'd be interested to hear about the losses of Clinton and Folau, both are crucial in our 09 campaign.

Clinton won't be out for long, should be right for Souths game. Folau.. who knows, I'd think worst case scenario he might be out until the finals.. no big deal IMO. I'd rather Hodges on the park tbh, he was crucial tonight.

Tonie Carroll was great, hes going to be a real asset. Lockyer brillant, as was Thaiday. Taylor ran at Stacey Jones all night.. but I guess they all run at Lockyer too, so it works both ways.

If it's just concussion for Clinton then the bye came at the perfect time. Hopefully there isn't any facial damage in there. Couldn't easily fractured an eye socket/checkbone or broken a nose.

I think Folau will be ok, might miss one game or/and Origin but it didn't look like a season ending one.

You probably feel for the Warriors more than I do, and they're my team. I've got little sympathy for them because they're shooting themselves in the foot and every week instead of doing something about it, Cleary just reloads the gun and hands it back to them.

Keep doing the things you've always done and you'll keep getting the results you always have.

I think Clinton could be in some serious trouble. There were reports that a tube had to be put in his throat on the field. You don't often come away from a head clash like that without some serious facial/skull injury. If his nose took all the impact he could be alright as there is a lot of soft tissue there to cushion it. But if the impact was on his cheek, or forehead - he could be in some strife.

"Each Broncos player jersey features the Livestrong logo, Armstrong’s embroidered signature and will also be signed by the player. The jerseys will be auctioned post-match via a website, with all funds raised shared between the Lance Armstrong Foundation and Cancer Council
Queensland."

Somehow I don't think Clinton's jersey will be included in this auction. Unless they get get all that blood out of it.

Don't take it personally, he's just trying to get a rise. Besides with Petro on the sidelines his team will be joining the list of 2009 also rans soon enough.

Actually I'm not trying to get a rise. I'm lamenting the probability of another Bronco victory to get them back into form.

Brisbane don't have the troops to do it this year IMO, that said, on our day we're capable of knocking anyone off. Lockyer seems to be at the peak of his game, and while Hodges and co are still firing we may still be able to have a crack at it.

Lockyer always seems to lift post-Origin, it's just a matter of whether he can stay fit.

Also don't worry about Pantherz9103, he's always been one to put his foot in his mouth.
