Jamie Soward got the Ch 9 Man of the Match but in the second half there were good performances all over. Dell and Creagh were good, Cooper played well and Prior was outstanding. I was impressed with the second half from the Dragons and the first half from the Roosters.

Fair effort in the 1st half from the Roosters. Friend, Pearce, Mason and Fitzgibbon were very good.

Our blokes just aimed up in that 2nd half after looking flat early on. Very impressive finish

how many times did mitchell pearce try to be the hero...just annoying
defintely not SoO for him.

Well there weren't many others standing out...

And the only points scored by the Rorters were by an ex-Dragon!

If only for a consistent 80 minutes.

And 18 points were scored from a former Rooster, your point?

Anyways good win to the Dragons, we just couldn't play the 80.

geez there were a few terrible calls tonight. I can't wait for the year everyone wakes up and realises that a challenge system is the best option we have to get rid of clangers.

best way to get rid of bad calls is to not have replays so that everyone cant moan about it all, would instantly solve a lot of problems that people are having, out of sight and out of mind

LOL@ pearce showed again why he isnt a nrl standard player, the roosters had the dragons on the rope a chance for pearce to get a penalty and or a dragon player in the sin bin.
15 metres from the dragons line the roosters tore the dragons to shred pearce had the ball most of the dragons were offside there was a huge gap for pearce to run through guess what he did ,

he put the bomb up and the dragons got the penalty for push on sailor LOL

as the game as a whole i thought the roosters played ok, but they do need a hew halfback

The Poosters have nothing!!

The jungle drums will beat loudly for Fittler after this drubbing.

I like most others tipped the Dragons tonight so........ if they came back and won, at least I'd get a tip.

But......after comments like this, well lets just say, I'd giggle my head off if the 1st placed Dragons did end up losing to the last placed Roosters .

 at you Daddytool.

Well done on getting your tip right.

Apart from Morris' four tries, you'll find the rest wasn't far off.

Beat it giggles.

I'm surprised Morris didn't score yesterday. He was pretty quiet. Soward was at his usual best, as were Hornby, Sailor Man, and Cooper. Great second half!

Someone remind the ground announcer to check his stats before mouthing off... Brett Morris was and still is a very clear second in the top tryscorer standings...

Just like the Dogs were and are a very clear second on the table, eh? ;)

I don't recall our ground announcer falsely stating otherwise?

Gaba do you ever have anything intelligent to say?

Pearce is barely 20 years old. His inexperience is going to lead to wrong choices every now and then. But that is how NRL players learn the game - through experience.

Just ask Jamie Soward who put in much worse performances for the tri-colours than Pearce does.

Pearce obviously has a bright future ahead of him.

I look forward to hearing more of your dribble.

I like that solution too. The problem is, media likes controversy, so we're heading the other way. Super slow-mos and the like. We need a challenge system to get rid of the controversy and leave fans with a better sense of justice and less animosity towards the officials. I bet the Storm would have loved one in the GF they lost to Brisbane.

but after 50 games in the nrl and in his 2nd year you would think he would offer more then the kick or bomb in attack. He is the number 1 halfback and suppose to be the one who takes charge of the attacking part

as phil gould even said instead of improving pearce is in the decline and predictable

so its you who is the dribbler,
with soward least he has improved and still improving cant say that for pearce

fmd, you didn't even watch the game last night did you? the only thing Pearce did wrong, was that he tried too hard.. he did more than just bombs..:lol:
