Parra have the wood on the Tigers historically.

However it was a different story the last time they played.

Parramatta have the style and players to dominate the Tigers - Big hard running forwards (Moi Moi especially) and the power and ball skills of Mateo.

Tigers need to wrap these guys up all day long. The Parra halves pose little threat imo in attack, and the Parra backs, except Hayne are no match for the Tigers.

Watch the Eels try and play the game in the middle of the park as much as possible, while the Tigers will avoid it like no team ever has before.

This is going to be a skillful, fast, high scoring match imo.

Reddy, Inu, Burt and Grothe have faced better backlines in the past few weeks and still come up trumps. The 37 points scored on them is testament to that.

Our halves may not be your biggest worry but if you focus solely on Hayne they will be.

The Tiggers discipline and the Eels defence are the two biggest factors in this match. The Tiggers may well have won the last match but this is a vastly different side in terms of attitude.

It will be played and won in the middle. ;-)

It will be close or a thrashing, and either side will win. That's about all I've got - but I'm going to tip the Tigers in my tipping comp anyway.

Is that fence hurting your backside at all? :D

I'm trying to do the stats here, basically whoever wins this game would be ahead of us (assuming the worst in Wollongong). I think I'll just sit back and enjoy watching these 2 teams rip at each other from neutral territory. I'm going to say the Eels, just because they need it slightly more. By 4, with a try in the 79th minute.

Wish this wasn't the same night as the Dragons/Broncos game so that I could go.Should be an absolute cracker. Will probably tape the game then watch it without knowing the score when I get back from Wollongong.

This game deserves a crowd of 30k,I think Eels 26-18 Tigers

Just wanted to ask peoples opinions. Do you think whoever loses this match will crumble afterwards and lose all momentum and maybe miss the finals or lose early in the finals, or do you think they will continue their form the next week?

It will be harder for the Eels if they lose because they'd need to win their last 2, one of them being the Dragons @ Kograh which will be near impossible.

However the Tigers will need to win 1 from 2 likely against the Titans and Bulldogs, who can be beaten but will be tough.

Will be an absolute cracker of a match and I'm dissapointed this isn't live into QLD!!!

You seem pretty 'with it' about the top 8/how many wins teams will need to get, do you reckon the cut off will be 28 or 30?

I doubt they will rest players ESPECIALLY in the last round. They would want to play there best teams and get some momentum going into the finals.

Potentially match of the round. Both sides obviously in form, I think the Tigers will get away with it narrowly with experience in the key positions.

Most Tries: Jsrryd Hayne - 5; Robbie Farah, Luke Burt, Jason Moodie, Brett Hodgson, Feleti Mateo, Nathan Hindmarsh - 4.

Most Goals: Luke Burt - 30; Brett Hodgson (16WT - 8PE) - 24; Joel Caine - 15, Jason Taylor - 11.

Most Points: Burt - 76; Hodgson (32 each) - 64; Caine - 42, Marshall, Taylor - 26; Hayne - 22.

if dragons have secured the minor premiership and have a few players with niggling injuries theres no doubt they will rest them

I reckon it'll be 28.

There's a lot of games between the teams, namely the Panthers vs Knights, Panthers vs Eels, Cowboys vs Knights, Cowboys Broncos.

It will be hard to see the cut off get as high as 30. 28 should be it.

Oh man, what a game. Two teams in red-hot form.

IMO the Eels have been more impressive in those games.

I'll go Eels.

The only prediction I'm making is this is going to be a classic. Atmosphere will be like an elimination final.

May the best team win, or at least the team the refs favour the most.

Actually I really hope we don't have any referring contraversies deciding this one. These two teams and fans deserve better than that.

I don't really like the Eels, but I really feel as though they should be in the 8. I want them there because they can really challenge for the title.

It would be a shame if prank teams like the Cowboys get in ahead of them.
