If we pump the Dragons on their home turf i will believe we are premiership contenders. This is the ultimate test for the eels.

If we lose this game, what we've done in the last 7 weeks means jack sh*t.

I hate how we see "single seats only" and "limited seats available" and sometimes allocation exhausted for category 2. There are almost ALWAYS seats empty in those stands :x

I cant see the eels losing this. They are in better form all over the park. The dragons look burnt out.

I can't say this authoritatively, but I would hazard a guess that this is probably due to Red-V members with reserved seating not attending for various reasons.

My heart says Dragons :), my head says Parra :(. I'm very concerned about the Dragons mentally, this side has not bounced back from much adversity as yet and Parra are as confident as you can get. The Dragons are in BIG trouble! :(

will be a close game. Hope Eels win but won't slit my wrists if we lose. Dragons are the best in the comp and should be favorites.

No way the eels will win this game, absolutely no way. We have no chance, if Parramatta win i'll do a nudie run through Oxford st, that's how confident i know we wont win.
their is no chance Parramatta will win, Saints will rebound and beat us thanks to a week of reflection time.
Dragons will be a very different team this Friday and will be very tough to beat. Their is a reason they're second on the ladder. Parra isn't without hope either. Our defense is clicking and attack with it.
I can see this coming down to the kickers. 4 tries a piece, may the best goal kicker win.

Just now stupid ref controversies please. We've all had enough to last 3 seasons.

On current form Parra are specials. We have played like a pack of busteds over the past 3 weeks, inability to score points, defence leaking like a sieve, no heart at all in any of these 3 games.

Parramatta form team of the comp, flogging all comers for almost 2 months.

I have noticed one thing from a large number of Parra fans is the bizzare expectation that it will be a very close game on friday night, again based on current form they have to be kidding, Parra 13+.

Is this mindset a sign of the majority of eels fans belief, that they are just waiting for Parra to fall over ?

I think Parra will lose one game between now & the end of the year, therefore I'd rather them lose on Friday & then go all the way to win the Premiership!:D

I think Parra will win this comfortably in the end after a tight arm-wrestle early on...
I'm just hoping we don't get beaten 2 weeks straight by them on our own home turf.
Wouldn't really give a toss if anyone else beat us the week after, I think we've truly
run our race this year.

Most of those empty seats would come from corporate or members not showing up to the game.

Whenever single seats only is available, it's almost always allocation exhausted by game day. The biggest issue for games is ticketek's handling of ticket numbers, they almost always have a 2nd release a day or two before the game, so all of a sudden a game is no longer sold out. They create a false market, and often it doesn't truly sell out due to that.

As has been reported in another thread the game is officially sold out. Friday can't come quick enough.

I think you'll find most Dragons fans have not talked up the Dragons at all this year.

The fact of the matter is, in 240 minutes of football we've only scored 3 tries, and conceded 77 points, and we're coming up against the form team of the comp.

As for us being chokers or talking down our chances, most pundits didn't even have us making the 8 at the start of the year. We've hit a slump, whether we can recover remains to be seen. Irrespective of whether we play poorly, or brilliantly, if we don't hold up the trophy in october we'll be branded chokers.
