I would expect the Warriors to lift for Fai as I hear it is another much for Sonny. Certainly going to be tough with no Price, Bunnies will have to play like they did in the 2nd half last match to be a chance here.

tough game for the bunnies... gonna have to tip agaisnt us for this one.

sandow is about to face his biggest defensive challange, corrigan too for that matter.

our pack is going to need one hell of a tallis rev up to even come close to matching the warriors...

gonna have to say warriors have the edge over us...

Steve Price has pulled out. That's a huge dent in their pack.

I reckon Souths can get up here. I'm tipping Souths. Have some faith.

(mind you - I aint tipping the Roosters, so who am I to talk?)

I gotta say, I hate these threads being in a separate forum and apart from providing ins/outs of various teams they are generally a complete waste of space. Move them back to the main forum. If they spoil the score for somebody, tough titties. Don't log in you dimwits.

This is a RL forum yet rarely is any true analysis on who might win any game and why. Don't just say a team by 6 you morons, provide some analysis backup your thoughts with reasoning.

That being said.

I'm torn on this game. One of the hardest games to tip this season in my view.

The bunnies were flat last week, and woke up just in time to run riot for 20 mins against a very ordinary Newcastle side who surely have no hope of playing finals footy. A couple of 200 game milestones to possibly arouse them, and a kiwi connection surely looking for a big performance in their homeland. A couple of backs have nothing at all ... but luckily for the bunnies, they meet some equally inept nuffies this week.

The warriors now ravaged by injury, again are looking to Sonny Fai for inspiration. Its a super sad loss of mammoth proportions, but surely its time to move on. They were clearly on a big downer last week after putting in a massive effort against the Eagles in Rd 2. Which is suprising in itself as everybody rises when playing the Broncos. Their outs are substantial - Price, Tate and Vatuvei the majors.

The forwards battle looks fairly close, the backs similarly. Only the run on inclusion of Jones levels up the playmaking credentials of both sides. I think I have to take the bunnies by the proverbial bees. Lets hope they are "up" this week, which seems to be the difference in many games nowadays.

Oink !

Interested to see how Russell Packer goes with more game time. Just comparing some of his stats to Prices, and I know there not everything, but fudge me he has some impressive numbers in nearly 30min less.

If he steps up and handles the extra GT, and I think he will, the Warriors will win.

Ah Van is an interesting addition too. Not sure how has been going but Ive always liked his potential, and now he gets a real chance to show what kind of future he has. Denan Kemp should appreciate his willingness to pass the ball.

I'm in a quandry over just how good the warriors are at this moment in time.
beat an eels team that ain't going very well, beat an Eagles team that penrith disposed of and got the complete runaround from a visiting Broncos team.
If the Rabbitohs employ a similar kicking game and lateral ball movement i can see them getting home here, they had a decent result at this ground last season so unlike a lot of teams shouldn't be in the mood to bottle it.
You'd expect a lot of emotion on sonny fai day but exactly what effect that has on th eteam is anyones guess. I'm a man utd football fan and i can tell you that the anniversary of the munich air crash never ever produces decent football from the team. The occasion always seems to get to the players and they rarely perform.

I assumed it would never happen, but it has... finally a decent rooster supporter on this forum. someone who doesnt just take shots at 'souffs' and actually is more interested in the game...

i reckon we can too, but we were complacent in newcastle and its usually a sign we are getting to comfortable...

I can see this as being very similar to the Knights game. The Warriors will jump out of the blocks and put a couple of tries on us. Only to have us come back in the second half via our little men as their big pack tire out. Souths by 10 after being down by at least 10 at some stage in the match.

Do NYC players actually get taught how to tackle? Most of these games end up being a cricket score... lol.
