A poor performance, but it was to be expected. Without Brett Stewart we would have been a chance, Manly, for most of the match, were just as impotent in attack as we were.

Although in saying that, I think we're a massive chance against the Storm on Monday night, who are far from their best.

Meh wasnt the best performance by us but a massive weight off our shoulders, the crowd was louder at the fulltime siren than it was at the gf fulltime siren lol, you could just feel the relief in the crowd.

Good to get the win but it was not a great performance. We turned over way to much ball in the second half. We will need to lift to beat Souths next week, they seem to beat us in one game each year and I think they will get us if we do not improve a fair bit. Hope the dogs bash them.

One of the best crowds I have ever been in.

So decoy running is just plain illegal now, might as well blow a penalty as soon as it happens. You can't tell me if Marshall gets tackled there, they play the ball and Farah scores that that gets called back. Terrible call. He beat five other players, what is the chance that the King of the Reggies Jason King is gonna tackle him?

Decoy running is fine, stopping in the line is not

No matter what the chances were, King was denied the chance to make an attempt, an ankle tap would have been enough to stop the try

Just on the crowd, how cheezy was the love-in and the lap of honour by the manly fullback at the end of the game?
Surely it wasnt all orchestrated.. :sarcasm:

Any other side would have put another 40 on us today, as the commentators said the tigers are a rabble, manly fans shouldnt get too excited just yet i reckon.
So what....a win's a win.

Anyway......a nick through the slips for a boundary, to get off the mark, looks the same in the scorebook as a straight drive past the bowler.

Poor old Tony Williams couldn't catch a cold yesterday. He looked unfit but that's to be expected, considering he's been out for two months with a hamstring injury and it's his first game since September last year. He'll improve and when he does, he'll be terrific for us.

^ thats fine if the tigers were the yardstick to go by, but we play more teams back into form than any other ive known. see in the next 4 weeks and then maybe judge that performance.
