1. Dragons (a given but we may well have the best depth in the comp)
2. Warriors (unburdened by SOO)
3. Sharks (Barrett + Stuart+ pretty good squad = top 4)
4. Manly (if they dont go broke paying fines and legal fees)
5. Storm (lost a lot of talent and depth but very strong in Melbourne)
6. Brisbane (If they can keep their best on the paddock)
7. Rabbitohs (most underestimated team in the comp in 09 IMO)
8. Cowboys (will win a lot at home, bit too big though and may struggle early)
9. Roosters (money wont buy them a spot in 09)
10. Dogs (as has been said, bought well, coach may or may not succeed)
11. Titans (Lack depth and Prince is always one game away from the hospital)
12. Knights (Will do better if Gidley stays fit but no Budsy, no Bailey)
13. Raiders (may do better but inexperienced coach and squad)
14. Panthers (not their year, too young and too much to learn)
15. Tigers (great coach but lack size and depth, Hodgsons departure will hurt)
16. Eels (Fitzy needs to go, they dont have a lot of anything this year)
