souths best were..
2nd rower jack lee hang, this guy looked pretty good. tall and hits the holes well. throws a unwanted ball at times. but trys hard and played well. looked dangaous every time with ball.
Michael Luong.. looks philo, isnt that big but is a solid 2nd rower played well. tackles and runs hard.
Luke Akau'ola the fullback played well. fast and joined into backline when needed.
newcastle hooker chris knight looked very sharp out of dummy half. done well.
over all, game souths prob should have won, had alot more ball. bombed a few chances. just cant defend. it came down to the size of the 2 teams. newcastle were much bigger.
