Qualifying Final - won 28-0 vs Manly (8th): not the greatest spectacle, but with the troops Manly were missing (and those they lost nduring the game), it was never going to be a contest. We had two options: play it safe against a team with nothing whatsoever to lose and make damn sure we progress, or throw caution to the wind and put a massive score on a second string lineup. Bennett for whatever reason went for option 1. We'll see in 6 days time whether it was the right option.

Are you trying to attribute a less than impressive Dragons performance to Wayne Bennett 'playing it safe'. You don't win Premierships by piss-farting around during finals matches. The Dragons would have wanted to smash a third grade Manly to pieces.

I am not for one moment trying to prove the Dragons are not a good side, they were deserved minor premiers...but let us try be a little more objective about the quality of their performances recently.

TBH I didn't think we gout out of 1st gear against manly. I thought we did exactly what we had to do to win, nothing more. I expect it to be the same this week, just get the win.

Ummm... what description would you suggest I use for taking a penalty shot 4 times when we had them back-pedalling? For the record I didn't particularly enjoy our approach to the game, but I can't think of any other way to describe it than "playing it safe". Which incidentally, is how Bennett himself described it when interviewd after the match. ;-)

Gee Ticketek is sh*te though. They have stuffed up the ticketing for all 3 Wests Tigers semi finals so far.

Week 1: System error and delayed start on members only sale period

Week 2: No WT Supporters bays allocated

Week 3: No members password required and than taken offline to fix it.

Freaking morons. It is their one job and they can't get it right.

Anywho rant over and looking forward to aturday at ANZ and Sunday at Leichhardt.
