Warriors aren't fab away so what better way to try and fix that issues by playing away :p they can't hide from it so they need to face it. All this stupid stuff over the jersey thingis ridiculos however, pettylittle thing

Gotta feel for Zillman, going from being a starting fullback to a benchwarmer.....

I wouldn't be feeling to sorry for him. His new team were in the NRL finals last season and look like NRL finalists again in 2010 and genuine contenders for the NRL title. Zillman also sees his fair share of playing time and looks likely to be the heir apparent to Preston Campbell's fullback jersey.

On the other hand, Canberra languished 13th last season and look unlikely to make any real impact on the competition in 2010.

The lifestyle afforded to Zillman on the Gold Coast as opposed to Canberra seems to be a winner too.

Overall, I think former Raider Willy Zillman is going ok with his new team.

Obviously the NRL has no rules on what jersey must be worn when, other than there must be a clear contrast between the two teams. So the Tits have done nothing wrong. I would also point out the Broncos did the exact same thing to Penrith in round 2 last year and there was no outcry.

LOL and???

Starting NRL player (grand canyon) named in jersey 18

You mean to tell me you'd rather be sitting on a bench playing 15-20 minutes a game than starting and playing full games?

I am not debating what I'd prefer, I am only suggesting I wouldn't feel too sorry for him. Zillman is in a good team, contributes (86m p/g in 09) and eventually will return to starting again in the NRL. The guy is 24, has all the time in the world.

I know I'd prefer being apart the Gold Coast organisation as opposed to Canberra.

The tits have got potentially one of the most devastating attacking players in the NRL languishing on the bench playing mere minutes as opposed to what he would be elsewhere

I don't disagree, though he is a role player currently and doing it well. I am not sure he is getting 'mere' minutes, it be at least 30 minutes a game. No, not what I'm sure he'd want, though enough to satisfy his thirst in a really, really good rugby league team.

I do not think Zillman will play at all in this game, and although i think he is a great talent, in this game he is up against Riley Brown for the utility role, and Brown brings more defensive attributes to the game.

Zillman will get his chance, but as they all know in that backline, unless you are Prince you are not a certain starter.

It may be what Zillman needs to lift him to a higher level, and we all would like to see that.

Fair point, I'd just love to see him succeed, I know he's got more than what he's shown at the titans so far

Personally regarding the jerseys it's my opinion that home teams should ALWAYS wear their home jerseys and away teams should wear their away jerseys unless they clash with the home jerseys of the opposition.

That way teams cant pull stunts like the Titans have this year and the Broncos did the year before. I think that the Cowboys did this to the Panthers or Warriors before as well havent they?

Queensland is bloody hot compared to the rest of the country at this time of year and daytime games are draining on the players.

I actually loved the idea of the A-League that home kits are coloured and away strips are white. That way there is NEVER a colour clash.

Wearing your away colours at home so the away team has to wear a darker colour in hot temperatures should be seen for what it is. Cheating.

If the Titans home kit was white, fair enough. But their home kit ISNT white and they should wear their home kit.

Bloody Kiwis - They've brought the weather over with 'em. I wake up and it's raining on and off.
Ah well it's going to be a good game I think. Looking forward to it.

I like Maloney already- great challenge on Prince and a great kick on the last tackle

Vatuvei in. 6-0

It looked like Luck has killed it, but great reactions by Maloney and Brown to regather the ball. Maloney puts up a little crosskick for Manu

Good start by the Warriors.

Scott Prince is the biggest milkman in the game, I've never seen anyone play for a penalty more than him.
He laid down again waiting for the ref to penalise the Warriors, then all of a sudden gets up when it's not forthcoming.
He does this way too often.
