Came down to the loss of hayne and tahu which gave them pace and that attacking prowess, came just as they were hitting top form from their last few wins. Bad timing for origin for the eels.

Please, if the rest of that Eels squad couldn't beat the Sharks last night then God help them if Hayne picks up a serious injury. Tahu is a decent player but he wouldn't have made a difference.
The rest of that side was basically Parra's top squad, they have no excuses.

Wasn't there only one Origin player missing?

And he was probably the difference between both sides.

you're right, apart from tahu which you've already corrected yourself on. it must just be the sharks roster making it feel worse than it actually is!

I actually tipped the Sharks in this one.

Parramatta were backing up from a very physical Monday night game and were missing Hayne, who tends to be the spark for much of their attack.

But.... they were also playing at home, shooting for a fifth straight win against a side that had only 2 wins to their name.

All in all, good win for the Sharks and a frustrating loss for the Eels.
