People keep asking me "Do you think the reason you lost tonight was because of the refs"

There were two things that, if they weren't as they were, we would have won.

1. If our outside backs didn't bomb a couple of tries.

2. If the refs hadn't made a few BS calls, namely against Bowen/LOD and with the """""""forward""""""""" pass.

The FOX panel are now saying - as i thought going by where Robinson looked when he ruled forward pass - theyre saying the touchie on the FAR side of the field - 60 metres across field and with 26 bodies not including refs in between him and the play, the far touchie called the forward pass despite the two refs and closest touchie seemingly being OK with it...f**kin amateur hour or what

If that's the case, f**k me, enlist him in crime fighting or somesh*t where his super abilities can be put to a great use.:roll::roll:

it kinda makes up for all of the ridiculous forward passes aaron payne throws out of dummy half every week.

Manly were sooooo offside towards the end of that game that the commentators had to say something in one set they were 2-3m offside pretty much every tackle! The refs were f**ked!

Cowboys were unlucky but that last pass was definately forward. But they had plenty of chances to win that game and kept bombing tries.

Missed the first half, how did Whare go? He looked to be struggling a bit in defence in the second half. Anyway it's a good two points and hopefully Foran is back soon.

Whare had a blinder 3 tries in the first half, looks like he has loads of potential !
Thanks Dragons

Kick the Cowboys out of the comp..... What is it like 3 finals they've made in 15 years? Pathetic. Everyone talks about the Sharks getting booted, it should be the Cowpussies

Feel sorry for cowboys u should of & deserved to win.

2 things
firstly: can someone, anyone take chris Bailey! He is without a doubt the WORST player to don a maroon & white jersey for a long time!. No flare, terrible reads in defence, no organisation in attack and couldn't catch a cold!

Secondly: why is ballin being taken off the field especially for a muppet like seu seu..we looked woeful
without his direction in 2nd half.. Remember similar happening against the tigers.

While the Cowboys definitely blew some try's, the officials also made sure they were never going to win.
Some of the calls Manly received in the last 20 minutes were dreadful....particularly the knock on call on Bowen....O'Donnell was under the sticks.....26-24 to the Cows with all the running and 5 minutes left.
Yeah.... because the Refs often do get influenced by a roaring home crowd, so much so that the 50/50's usually go the way of the home team.

Hang on a sec.....:sarcasm:

Ah sh*t, he's been found out! It's true, our hooker has been trying a new tactic never before seen in the NRL - dummy halfs passing it forward. Just hang on a sec... Everyone else does it too!

Wow. Because other teams.. like the Raiders.. or the Panthers.. or the Sharks.. or the Warriors.. or Souths.. or Tigers.. have been massively successful in comparison in the last decade.

 Even the commentators made mention of the 4-1 penalty count in your favour at one stage during the 2nd half.....gone from being a team who gives away a stack of penalties to almost none in one night.

If you can't see that the Cowboys were treated very poorly in some of those decisions, particularly late in the match, then it says a lot about your understanding of a game.

Well thanks for your concern thommo..... I understand the game just fine.

However, so long as you're inclined to believe that the Refs "make sure" one side wins.... perhaps it's your understanding of the game that should be in question.
