Ive seen more of Widdop then most and he is a much better fullback then he is a 6, and that is were Id prefer him. Dane Chisholm got a crack at 6 in the NSW cup yesterday (he's been in the doghouse) and carved up the Maggies, I would also check in on how Arana Taumata is going at the Tiges for next year.

I like Whiddop as a fullback myself, dont think he'll transition well as a 5/8th, could be a handy centre though

BTW, if your stock piling halves, maybe you can do me a favour and let Cooper Cronk go to the boys in green, you can keep slater, whiddop, inglis and smith as long as the lime green get Cronk and keep Dugan

Got an injury pre-season but I also suspect he wasnt applying himself professionally enough for the coaches. Was in woeful form 1.5 months ago but has been playing very well last few weeks on the wing (North Sydney could atest to his astonishing speed) and got a shot at the 6 yesterday with Widdop out and smashed it. If he keeps applying himself should get a run towards the end of the year.
