I'd love to see the Tits take their form from tonight to Canberra, and the Raiders pull their form from their trip north earlier in the season out of the suitcase. Would be laugh a minute!

On serious matters, if I don't see 7. Mitchell Pearce on my TV screen at about 10 to 8 next Monday night, then I will not be watching Origin 2*. Not that I think Pearce will just pop in and win us the series ala Johns, but he is without a doubt the best number 7 in NSW by a fair margin, and if he doesn't get picked, then I cannot support the NSW Origin organisation until the current selectors (and coach, who has a big say) are gone. That will be the final shred of credibility ripped up as far as I'm concerned.

*n.b. this is likely an empty threat, as I'll no doubt be rostered on to work again that night.

I 100% agree. NSW will probably lose regardless but have a better chance of a miracle with Pearce there. He is clearly the best halfback NSW has at the moment and in my opinion has enormous potential for the future.
