Cowboys backline is absolutely shocking... if the Raiders are real contenders they should put at least 30 on us

up in north queensland and missing our two best forwards in shillington and TLL and perhaps even dugan I very much doubt that. IMO it will be a close one, I'm tipping golden point.

we are missing out halfback (we have a shocking record without him), our star centre, our lock (potentially) and our best forward in matt scott, our wingers cannot catch balls and have the defensive reading skills of 3 year old girls. we are well and truly fu**ed.

Like i told ya today mate, no dugan no hope

Also these are the exact types of games canberra have a nasty habit of dropping. If canberra show up switched on and ready to play, and we play for the entire 80 minutes, there is no telling how much we will win this by. But canberra have a f**king nasty habit of coming into a game like this and expecting to just have to show up and get the points. If we do that, it will be tight and the Cowboys can sneak it.

I hope Dugan doesnt play Origin. He doesnt need to get his prints on that train wreck. NSW will lose, just not as badly with him in the side, so id much rather Hayne get off and have Dugan for us.
We very well might need him

The Cowboys really should be doing so much better considering the players at their disposal.

Just what is Neil Henry doing up there? I'm certainly starting to question his achievements with Canberra now, were they down to him or the support staff around him?

Henry should be packing his bags... Current and former rep players galore and yet our teams sits cold motherless last. My money is on him getting the sack in the off-season, or knowing how inept the Cowboys management is, early next season (destroying our chances next year as well).

I don't know why people think it will be close, as much as I'd love it to be I don't see any points in that backline at all. With the mighty Grant Rovelli piloting us in the 7, we are well and truly gone.

Cowboys are struggling in the first half of games and coming home strong in the 2nd
Raiders are building strong leads and struggling to hang on to them

if all goes to plan, canberra will be leading by about 20 at halftime, and without Scott, JT, Tonga and LOD, i cant see the cowboys having it in them to launch the comeback that would usually follow

if canberra go in with their heads on, should be a comfortable win... but nothing is ever comfortable for the raiders

You'd have to think Canberra. Playing so far away from Canberrra bothers me, even though their away record is ok this year. I'll stick with Canberra, even though Joshy Miller can't get a start.

Miller is injured , he has a minor hamstring strain that will keep him out 1 week.

I think we will win , truthfully I'll be devastated if we lose this, but by no means do I think we will win easy.

Raiders to win..

Despite catching the Eels, Dragons and Warriors at a good time, their away record has been pretty good this season. They're getting another break this week, with the Cowboys missing 4 to Origin. Add in the short turnaround from Monday night's match, and I think Canberra must win.

We rarely cop a whipping at home (other than that match against the Storm) but I find it difficult to see a way we can win. I would probably even pick Canberra with our rep players, but without I don't know if we can do it.

I would absolutely love them to prove me wrong though

The difference in this game will be Campese...he needs to stand up and dominate the Cowboys defence with short balls inside and little grubbers.

Raiders by 8.
