Its why i hate games like this... this is a must win, to keep the momentum going against a poor side without their guns and a chance to chalk up another away win...

all signs point to an easy raiders win... yet these are the games we always some how manage to lose... we win this, and take some momentum into the Tigers at Leichhardt Oval, i give us a real chance there. If we can then knock them over there. We'll have 5 away wins and be entrenched in the top 8 with winter setting in and a host of home games to end the season. Really would set us up for a strong charge into the finals

but if we lose this week and then again against the tigers, we're back to pushing sh*t up a hill to make the finals. BIG two weeks for the raiders

Yeah it's these games where a team like the Cowboys have a bunch of players who know they have to step up with Thurston and co out.

I've got a bad feeling that Matt Bowen could do a hatchett job on us.

Grant Rovelli's not playing tonight for the Cowboys, he ran out for Mackay in the Queensland Cup this afternoon.

Not sure who's replacing him..

I have a feeling this will be a very frustrating game. I'm tipping lots of drop ball. Let's hope for the raiders that this isn't the case. It would be so nice if we could really put it to the cowboys tonight.

cowboys have a big advantage in the forwards. Besides Scotty Logan, Canberra have a pack of toilers.

Unless henry and the cowboys are complete idiots, every last tackle option should be a bomb in the air. Even 1st tackle 20m off their own line just bomb it up. Milne and Vidot are shockers under the high ball wth Mogg not much better.

Have you seen our wingers under the high ball??

Its offensive to woeful to call them that, I swear between Bani and Williams they have caught a total of 1 bomb all year. Of the 26+ points we give up a game about 20 come from bombs.

If Furner's game plan isn't to run wide at these guys most of the night and bomb them for the rest of the night, then he cant coach for sh*t.

In the forwards we are missing out best Matty Scott and 2nd best Luke O'Donnell. Other than Mason and Bolton the others have been pretty poor, Tub of Lard Webb starting (ooo Im sure that strikes fear in Canberra's pack!)

Jason Taumalolo is playing well for the raiders in Toyota Cup. Looks very much like a future first grader.

going off the top of my head, vidot has caught 3 bombs all without significant pressure on him; and dropped atleast 8. It's Milnes first grade debut of this season and Mogg's first game on wing in years.

Sure, williams and bani may have been pretty poor this season, but I've seen them to be quite capable under the high in the past. Could be a night of bombng raids.

Cowboys may be missing Scott and O'Donnell, but there is plent of strike power in Tamou, Mason and Rapira. Ah Mau also looks abit of a pocket rocket.

Canberra have logan... Picker, Fensom and Galea should be good for about 100m combined.

Sauiluma and McIllwrick were the stand outs in TC for us imo.
Both absolute tore the cowboys apart

Appleton was strong up front too, Mataora proved he is a class above most at this level and Williams was great at half

McIllwrick needs to be signed up long-term asap. Future kiwi rep imo.
