The better side lost. Tigers got the absolute rub of the green, but ultimately handling errors cost Brisbane.

How on earth does that touchie miss the 3-4m forward pass from Tuqiri? He was right f**king there!

What game were you watching? The Broncos were penalised for one infringement in 80 mins of footy. Please furnish an example of another game in the last 62 years (state of origin not included) where a team has given away fewer penalties. There were also a few forward pass and knock-on calls that went Brisbane's way as well.

Look, don't get me wrong, Brisbane were by FAR the better team and it's very unfair that they lost, but you can't bemoan your luck with the calls.

Oh BTW I agree that the Tuqiri pass was a mile forward.

6-2 penalty count. One was after 5 seconds off the kick-off.

You do realise the ball went back, but Ayshford was in front. There's nothing wrong with that. FMD.

Actually, on topic of butchered calls, how about the Gillett knock on before Norman's try? That slipped your eyes didn't it. Nuffy.

*Note, I feel bad for the Broncos and they should've won by 50.

On the one hand I would like to apologise to all the Broncos fans out there for us winning that game, in no way did we deserve to win and I think you should feel hard done by...

...however on the other hand I would like to take the win for all the close games that the Tigers have lost in the last couple of years and with all honesty there needs to be some element of luck in every teams run to the finals, I think we may have just used all of ours in one game though!!

apart from the fact that it was a FORWARD PASS. Ayshford was in front of Tuqiri before he passed it and in front of him after he passed it. How you don't realise this is a forward pass reflects very poorly on your parents' decision to procreate. FFS how many idiots are there in this world?

A penalty count doesn't tell the whole story. And you'll also probably notice that I mentioned handling errors ultimately cost Brisbane.

And I'm sure by "1" you really meant "2".

He's referring to the second try. There was a blatant knock-on in the play immediately prior to the one where the try was scored.

Farah was bad...NSW are f**ked if he and Ennis are the best we have at 9 in future

One bad game. His problem is that he is injured but too stubborn to take a rest. If only Marshall had an excuse for playing so badly on a consistent basis.

BTW Imagine if I were to pass judgment on Hayne after any one of his 10 crap performances this year.

That's exactly how the Tigers played in round 6 when they lost to the Doggies. No organistation, barely able to control the ball for three tackles, half the team going for a miracle play when nothing is on. Awful stuff. As crap as the Tigers performance on the field they were matched by the 9 commentators. Warren & Gould are like a broken down third rate vaudeville act. Warren seems to think it's highly entertaining for the viewers to hear him getting players names wrong. Gould as always gets onto some hobby horse & won't get off. Tonight it was "enthusiastic young kids playing in the park".

You're right, I was being disingenuous. Broncos conceded 1 penalty in 79 minutes and 52 seconds. However, that first one was contentious. It could have gone either way but ended up three metres over the deadball line.

You mean the three metres that consisted of Farah's foot barely touching down over the dead ball line as he caught the ball? Didn't realise his leg was three metres long.

Regardless:

Sure the broncos played smarter, controlled the ball more, but id hardly go nuts and say they deserved it. If they really deserved it theyd of taken there chances. For a team that was gifted the game, they showed absolutely nothing in attack. They had the ball in the tigers quarter all night and played like sausages. The Tigers had 3-4 chances in Brisbanes quarter and scored a few times.

They probably had the rub of the green as well. Got the calls, 6-2 penalty count. Other than that there were plenty of iffy calls against both sides. The Tuquiri forward pass, numerous broncos forward passes, the brisbane sheppherd in the first 20ish minutes, the knock on before the broncos second try, a potential poor play the ball before the tigers last try...
