damn the referees are getting upsetting. we've basically had the best three or four weeks of football all season, and all they're doing is being disgustingly inept (or worse!) and it's taking the focus off some great games.

f**kers.

Easts up by 22 points....no way it should have got to a position where the video ref could have a big influence on the result. i'm just glad we were able to win in spite of the call.
whinging about a bad call when we surrendered a massive lead wouldn't be a good look.

Great win Roosters, your boys dominated the Broncs for the majority of the contest and at crucial stages just wanted it more.

Ref calls went both ways. Some very ordinary calls against the Broncos for the first 50 really got the ball rolling for your boys.

The Kenny (or was it Folau) try was very adventitious officiating. Can't say I'm surprised after the Fa'alogo try in the WC final but still.

Fox commentators can go get f**ked though.

Referee is as bad as it has ever been and sadly may very well decide the premiership. A decade ago Bill Harrigan was copping it but I bet people would love him back.

Great win by the Roosters they showed against Souths they could play there game of forward play and win. Beat Bulldogs and Brisbane playing an open type game. Sometimes a loss feels like a win and the game against Warriors a month ago when they were denied in the last play showed me enough to suggest the Roosters could come up trumps at the back end of the season.

Not convinced they can win the comp but there are a lot of sides in that top 8 whom are very similar to Easts in the way they play and experience.

Be GOLD if Brian Smiths first premiership win was a last to first production.

Phew !

I'll take that one....

Laurie Daley can get f**ked. I don't catch much fox coverage, but geez that bloodfarter Daley can dribble sh*t.

Disgusting to even let Brisbane get a sniff with thinking the game was over with 20 to go and an even more disgusting call from the video ref.
Instead of getting better these referees are getting worse. They will cost teams spots in the finals and even worse will decide matches in the finals.
I thought video refs had to look at every available angle until they could make a decision before awarding a try. After the try was awarded another unseen angle 'conveniently' pops up.

I would have preferred it were a no try tbh. We needed to be behind longer, we were always going to run out of momentum once hitting the lead.

I thought the Broncs had it, but the short kick off was the proper turning point. Credit to them for the comeback.

Agreed.

Should never of let them get that close.

WOW is all you can say about that game, both those sides tonight even with the very average defence shown tonight, have to be rated big chances this year!

What's the point of having a f**king video ref if he still can't make the right calls? It's complete bullsh*t. The whole reason they exist is to eliminate as many refereeing errors as possible when a team has scored a try, not to be used as a f**king crutch for every sh*thouse referee that can't make his own decisions without the video refs approval.

Couldn't agree more was sitting there thinking why couldn't we score with 5 to go the amount of games I have been to where we have lost in the last 3-4mins is unbelievable.

Much like the Souths v Dragons game the other week once the Bunnies hit the lead it was always going to be tough to defend against a team for the last 10 who throw caution to the wind.

Should have won by 40 but I'll take it. Amazing attacking performance from Carney and SKD in particular.

Going by the last few weeks Parra will get a massive leg up by the refs to continue their dream run next week. f**k the refs, f**k News, f**k the NRL.

roosters got out of jail there....they shouldve gone on with it early in the second half credit to the broncos though

f**k off refs

Lucky??? We shouldn't have to deal with News Ltd attempting to orchestrate the result of a match with video refereeing decisions. Tim Mander should hang his head in shame.. on second thoughts he should just hang.

Like I said at the end mate f**k off refs when I say go out of jail I mean it as in rightly so but I still gave credit to broncos for fighting back even if the refs f**ked it

Another cracker of a game over harpers by ref blunders
